Do you have a firm understanding of the Employee Retention Tax Credits (ERTC), and are you aware of the recent IRS Notice regarding ERTC scams? In short, fraudulent claims are being made on behalf of businesses which will likely result in steep fines and penalties to taxpayers. To mitigate these issues, we advise you to keep us informed of any communication you may have with outside providers. As a CPA firm, we are concerned about illegitimate third parties selling ERTC and other incentives with “too good to be true” offers.

Should you receive solicitation emails, please contact your PKF Mueller Representative to assist you in determining whether you legitimately qualify. By doing so, you’re also helping us protect other taxpayers who may fall victim to aggressive tactics, as scammers should be reported to the IRS.

With all of this in mind, we continue to see many legitimate qualifiers. We are happy to assist if you still need to be evaluated. Contact us to discuss any concerns you have about the IRS Notice or to receive help assessing eligibility requirements.

We are here for you. Let us know how we can help.

If you would like to learn more, please contact your PKF Mueller Professional or one of our ERC Specialists at ERCTeam@pkfmueller.com.
