I’m officially 1/4th done with my ‘work’ in Germany, and it’s time to respond to some reader questions and comments that I’ve received from my blog postings so far. If you’d like to send feedback akrog@muellercpa.com would be the place to do it or comment on the bottom of the blog (I think you would be the first person to ever comment on my blogs on our site, history is yours for the taking!!!!). I will try to respond to your feedback every three weeks during my trip (please humor me by asking some questions). These are actual comments from actual readers:

Of course I do, I miss my family and my church family that I have been a big part of over the last three years. I will say that I miss my Mueller co-workers as well (did that come off forced?). I also just put an offer in on a house in America today, still not sure how that’s going to work…
“What’s been the most difficult thing about living in Germany?” – Alex Krog
That’s a great question if I do say so myself. Besides the fact that I had to wake up at 2:00 am to talk to college friends during the NFL Draft last week and the fact that I wasn’t able to fully enjoy making fun of those said friends when the Minnesota WiLLLLd lost to the Chicago HaWWWWks in the NHL Playoffs, I think without a doubt it is ordering food. There is only so much schnitzel one can eat, although I’m putting that to the test. I have eaten more mushrooms in the last three weeks than I have in my entire life up to this point. I look at a menu, and more times than not I just guess at something and hope I can choke it down. One of my first days here I was out with co-workers after work and I ordered Leberkäse, mostly because it was the cheapest thing on the menu. They looked at me and asked if I knew what I ordered. I said no, and said that it would be fine. It tasted alright. I’ll let you look up the ingredients on your own.
