I first met Mueller CPA during a Meet the Firms event.  During the event, I spoke to many representatives from various firms.  About three minutes into speaking with the Mueller representatives I knew that this was the organization I wanted to be a part of.  I left the conversation with the feeling that Mueller cared about the person and who they are, and not solely about what you can do for them.  It felt good to meet an organization who fosters community and believes in teamwork, which is exactly what I was looking for.

Shortly after the event I was brought in for an official interview, received an offer for an internship, accepted that offer, and I have been on an upward career trajectory with Mueller since.  In fact, I did two internships with Mueller before being hired on full-time.  Mueller, along with the Partners and Managers in the Accounting Services Department, worked with me and the remaining courses I had left to graduate.  The second internship could not have come at a better time because it offered me the flexibility to finish coursework but also, and more importantly, the needed transitioning time it takes when becoming a first-time father.  When I first started with Mueller it was made clear that the firm values its employees and their families.  Mueller proved that ten-fold.

With all of that in mind, one of the easiest decisions I’ve ever made was accepting the offer to transition to full-time employment as an Associate.  Mueller empowers its employees to take control of their career trajectory as well.  I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with coworkers from each branch and location within the firm and I’ve found a common denominator with each.  They all care and want to see you grow.
