My name is Alex Feliciano and I am currently finishing up my last semester at Northern Illinois University where I will be receiving my Bachelors in Accountancy. I choose accounting primarily for the ability to travel and the amount of networking opportunities that could come from it.
Fortunately, I was able to land an internship with Mueller where I am able to practice audit. As for the experience it has been nothing short of eventful, exciting, and eye-opening. After a week and a half of training I was thrown onto clients, and felt overwhelmed at first but now I can see the progress I have made from this experience. In fact one week I was even scheduled for three reviews, which was surprising, but it was these experiences that helped me develop and grow.
Another great part about Mueller has been the people I get to work with. Everyone here has been welcoming and supportive. Whenever I had a question they never made me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable to ask.
The most tremendous thing about Mueller is their culture. Mainly due to the fact that everyone here works hard and has a good work ethic but at the same time knows how to enjoy each other’s company.
Overall, I am really glad with my choice of choosing Mueller. With my short time of being here it has been filled with nothing but thrilling experiences, positive people, and an outstanding culture.
