Ferdinand Alfajora, J.D.
Ferdinand joined PKF Mueller as a Consultant in the Firm’s Tax Department with over 28 years of tax experience in public accounting. He brings Big 4 experience and specializes in sales and use tax, mergers and acquisitions, and audit defense. Ferdinand was a former tax auditor for the state of California and worked as a legal analyst in the Appeals and Petition Section. He has also provided tax services for a publicly traded startup technology company for many years.
Ferdinand is a key member of the Firm’s State and Local Tax Group (SALT) which provides research and consulting services dealing with multi-state income and franchises taxes, sales and use tax, credits and incentives, employment taxes, property taxes, and state and local planning.
Ferdinand has a diverse range of industries he provides services to, including startups, online and point of sale (POS) retail, IT consulting services, and U.S. Government contractors.
Ferdinand is a US Marine veteran and served combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan as a Plans and Logistics Field Officer. Ferdinand applies his military experience in strategic short/long-term planning for his clients in mitigating state and local taxes when structuring a business transaction.
