Experience

Nina began her career as an auditor with PKF Mueller in January 2016 as an intern and returned full time following her graduation from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017. Nina obtained her CPA license in October 2018 and her CISA certification in November 2022.

As part of PKF Mueller’s assurance practice, Nina leads attestation engagements for manufacturing, servicing, and not-for-profit clients. Nina is passionate about not-for-profit organizations and is a member of PKF Mueller’s Not-For-Profit Leadership group. The group is focused on being at the forefront of emerging issues facing not-for-profits and ensures the success of PKF Mueller’s not-for-profit clients.

As a member of the Firm’s Risk & Controls team, Nina also performs System and Organization Controls engagements (SOC 1 and SOC 2 examinations). She performs these engagements for a wide variety of clients and related systems including advanced application software platforms, managed security service providers, and data centers.

Nina is also involved with PKF International, an international network of CPAs. In the Summer of 2019, she took part in PKF Mueller’s Global Employee Exchange Program. As part of this program, Nina spent three months working at an affiliated German audit and consulting firm in Cologne. While there, she assisted with their audit and corporate finance teams in addition to gaining exposure in the world of international business and culture.
